X-Ray

Dr. M. Rosengarten

McGill 1997

This is an AP x-ray picture of a patient undergoing an electrophysiology study to determine if the patient's DDD pacemaker should be replaced.
The pacer had come to its end of life and the bipolar ventricular lead had failed to sense or pace.

The atrial lead continued to work well but is seen prolapsing through the tricuspid valve.
Two temporary quadapolar wires are seen, one in the atrium and one in the RV apex.
