X-Ray

This is a portable chest x-ray of a 68 year old man with an ejection fraction of 25%, and easily inducible ventricular tachycardia.

The image shows a dual chamber pacermaker with a ventricular defibrillator. You can see an active fixation atrial lead, as well as the ventricular lead that combines a sense/pace lead with a shocking lead with a coil in the right ventricle and one in the superior vena cava. The device shocks between the can and the coils.
