  • This is a series of echocardiograms from a thirty year old male patient admitted to the hospital in a state of hemodynamic shock.
  • Massive deep vein thrombosis was found in one leg, as well as massive pulmonary embolism.
  • He was treated with thrombolysis (TPA), followed by 2 weeks of intravenous heparin and long term coumadin.
  • All the cardiac masses resolved with the treatment.
