This is a series of strips from a 24 hour Holter monitor of a patient with a newly replaced VVI pacemaker. The pacer was set at 50/min with a hysteresis at a lower rate. The patient had passed out 12 years previously but no electrocardiogram was recorded to document the cause of the syncope. During the 24 hour recording the patient had symptoms of palpitations. |
